Susumaniello, a traditional grape variety whose ideal home is found in the Brindisi area. Its origins are believed to trace back to Dalmatia. Formerly known by other names (Somarello, Zuzomaniello, Cozzamaniello), it was famous for its abundance in the first years of production, loading the vine with clusters like a ‘donkey’. Today, thanks to the recovery efforts of some local producers who have highlighted its quality and versatility, it has become, along with other native varieties, a true symbol of Apulian winemaking tradition. Wine is music that evokes emotions, memories, and atmospheres. For our Lacci Susumaniello Rosato, we chose ‘Filo Rosso’ by ALFA, leaving room for each of you to find the perfect ‘musical tasting’ experience!
